The city of Herriman, UT was founded and settled in the year 1851 by a local church leader named Henry Harriman. It is located about 25 miles southwest of Salt Lake City and adjacent to the cities of Lark, Bluffdale, and South Jordan.
Once known for its namesake of Fort Herriman, the only thing that remains of the building are the two black locust trees that are where the fort’s entrance used to be. Now as a quiet area, people living in Herriman get the benefits of beautiful homes, safe neighborhoods, and a tight-knit community.
Moving to Herriman has so many perks beyond these advantages, making it a great city for many young families, millennials, and beyond.
